The Birthright Israel Foundation sought to engage over 250,000 alumni of its international program, and their friends and social networks. Sage70 president Isaac Shalev developed a strategic plan for leveraging technology, microgrants, and crowdsourcing to reach participants. Isaac led the building of a national engagement staff, and the corresponding program planning and evaluation systems. Over three years Birthright Israel NEXT developed programming that engaged over 350,000 young adults, changing lives in the process.
